Terms of Use
Last Updated: 07/22/2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Remembr (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What Remembr Does
Remembr is a shared reminder and task board app. You can create boards, add reminders, invite friends, assign reminders, archive boards, use optional paid features, and receive notifications related to reminder activity. The App is supported in part by advertising and optional subscriptions, as described below.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it when needed. Accounts are created and accessed using an email address and password. You may delete your account in Settings.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Remembr to:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate another person
- Upload unlawful, harmful, hateful, or misleading content
- Attempt to access another user's account or data without permission
- Interfere with the App's security, infrastructure, or normal operation
- Use automated scraping, spam, or abuse systems
- Interfere with, block, or manipulate ads displayed in the App, or engage in fraudulent ad clicks or impressions
- Attempt to bypass subscription limits, entitlement checks, or paid feature restrictions
We may restrict, suspend, or delete accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the App.
4. User Content
You keep ownership of reminders, boards, profile information, images, and other content you add to the App ("User Content"). You give Remembr permission to store, process, display, sync, and transmit User Content as needed to operate the App, including showing shared board content to users you invite or collaborate with.
You are responsible for your User Content and for making sure you have the right to upload or share it.
5. Shared Boards and Friends
When you share a board, invited users may be able to see board names, reminders, assignments, member profile information, and related activity. Use sharing carefully and only invite people you intend to collaborate with.
Blocking a user may hide them from suggestions and friend request areas, but it may not remove all historical shared content or past records immediately.
6. Remembr+ Subscriptions
Remembr+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks paid features. Current Remembr+ features may include recurring reminders, a reminder calendar, private boards, no non-rewarded ads, an exclusive theme, and increased usage limits. The exact features, price, and billing period are shown in the App before purchase.
Remembr uses Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA). You can review it here: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
If you purchase Remembr+:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
- The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Deleting the App or deleting your Remembr account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription.
- Refund requests and billing issues are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
- You may use Restore Purchases to restore an active subscription on a device using the same Apple ID.
If your subscription expires, is canceled, refunded, revoked, or cannot be verified, Remembr+ access may be removed. Features that require Remembr+ may stop working, including recurring reminder notifications, private board creation, Plus-only themes, and increased limits. Existing Plus-created content may be hidden, limited, disabled, or kept read-only depending on the feature and current app behavior.
We may provide complimentary, promotional, reviewer, tester, or administrative access to Remembr+ at our discretion. Such access does not create an Apple subscription, does not charge the user, and may be changed or revoked if abused or no longer applicable.
7. Private Boards and PINs
Private boards are a convenience feature that can require a PIN before opening a board in the App. This feature is not a guarantee of absolute security and should not be used as the only protection for highly sensitive information.
8. Advertising
The App displays advertisements provided through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Ads are selected and served by Google AdMob, and Remembr does not control the specific content of individual ads
- Your interaction with ads (such as views and clicks) may be measured by Google AdMob for ad performance purposes
- Rewarded ads may be offered for optional benefits, such as restoring a streak, and rewards may depend on ad availability and completion
- Ads may, depending on your consent and device settings, be personalized based on advertising identifiers and app activity, as described in our Privacy Policy
- We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or claims made in third-party advertisements, or for any products or services offered through them
- Your interactions with advertisers and third-party ad content are solely between you and that advertiser
9. Notifications
Remembr may send notifications for reminders, recurring reminders, deadlines, streak restore prompts, board activity, friend requests, and account activity if notifications are enabled. Notifications are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed to arrive at a specific time.
10. No Professional Advice
Remembr is a productivity tool. It is not medical, legal, financial, safety, emergency, or professional advice. Do not rely on the App for critical reminders where missing a notification could cause harm, loss, or legal consequences.
11. Service Availability
We try to keep the App reliable, but the App may be unavailable, delayed, interrupted, or changed from time to time. We do not guarantee that reminders, notifications, syncing, shared board updates, or ad delivery will always be accurate, instant, or available.
12. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services such as Firebase, Google AdMob, Apple StoreKit/App Store payments, and push notification providers to operate. Your use of features involving those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies, including:
- Google's Terms of Service: https://policies.google.com/terms
- Google AdMob's policies: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
- Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
- Apple's Media Services Terms and subscription policies: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/
13. Termination
You may stop using the App or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the App in a harmful way.
14. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability, including with respect to any ads or third-party content displayed in the App.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Remembr and its developers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, missed reminders, missed deadlines, subscription interruptions, service interruptions, or any transactions or dealings with advertisers.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
